49ers vs. Seahawks Week 6 TNF 1st Quarter Props

I never played any first quarter props at FanDuel until Monday night in Week 4 when the Dolphins-Titans and Seahawks-Lions were on. I didn’t do any research, I played some longshots, and I came up a leg short on parlays with odds of +30000 and +44000. Just from that night I saw some value in these plays, especially the alternate lines, and the instant satisfaction of finding out if you were right in 30-40 minutes after kickoff also makes these very fun to play.

So, I went into last week’s Falcons-Bucs game on TNF with more research and crafted some plays. I ended up hitting my No Sweat bet as well as a few more parlays, getting very lucky that Bucky Irving fumbled late in the game to finish with 44 yards (O/U 44.5 yards). But the No Sweat was strictly 1Q props and that one hit with +2200 odds or so.

Tonight is another divisional game between the 49ers and Seahawks, so it’s teams with a recent history as this will be Brock Purdy’s 5th start against Seattle, albeit with a new coaching staff for the Seahawks. But the Seahawks are banged up defensively and have struggled the last two games. They’ve also struggled with this SF defense under Geno Smith since 2022.

I compiled the first quarter stats for these teams last 4 meetings, including their 2022 wild card matchup. Note that this is the third year in a row the 49ers are in Seattle on TNF. This is for reference and research purposes. Make your own plays at your own risk, but I thought this guide would be useful for crafting my own plays tonight, and I wanted to share it here. If people find this useful, maybe I’ll do this more often for TNF.

And here’s what I ended up using for my No Sweat.

I know Bucs-Falcons was such a great offensive game that it spoiled me for the weekend. These 1Q props are still quite challenging and I don’t expect to match last week’s success. But they are my favorite new thing to play and I’m hoping to get better at them. But as you can see from the splits above, this stuff is still very random.

Will Aiyuk and DK continue their road-home splits over the last 4 games? We’ll see. But I do like Purdy to start off better than Geno, and I’ll also be mixing in some bets with things like the 49ers winning and Mason scoring a TD.

Let’s win something tonight.
